WHAT IS VLE?

VLE stands for "Virtual Learning Environment." A VLE is a virtual classroom that allows teachers and students to communicate with each other online. 

In a broad definition, VLE can be defined as

“one that allows learners to perceive the environment, assess situations and performance, perform actions and proceed through experiences and lessons that will allow them to perform better with more experience on repetition on the same task in similar circumstances.”

CHARACTERISTICS OF VIRTUAL LEARNING

A physical learning environment generally integrates courses, resources (libraries), formal communication (boards) and informal communication (cafeteria, ...), an administration, .. 

A virtual learning environment integrates a variety of tools supporting multiple functions: information, communication, collaboration, learning and management.
